Hello and welcome this page will tell you how to get to the gold Chocobo with ease the gold is the best and can go nay were it can go across water, mountains, rivers and even deserts. To get the gold you must be half way through disk 2 or on disk 3 and gold saucer must be open it is best to have a gold ticket to get in and out of gold saucer.
Start of by getting your self 2 great Chocobo (you get these from middel an island at the bottom were the life stream is)
go to the ranch and save it. Put them in and if they are not male and female put one in then go save and reset they will then change sex most of the time. You must now go and get an caribo nut you can get these 1. Buy one from gold saucer it's the first ???? Or 2. Go to bone village and fight on the grass or on the beach not in the wood's and steal it from the dragon like monster. This should get you a blue or green Chocobo. Repeat it and if u do not get the other colour after resetting it a few times then you will have to get them both up to class a once done mate them with a Caribou nut.
Now you will have to mate them both to get a black Chocobo but first they must both be A class and then you can mate them using a caribou nut. After this you will now have a black Chocobo to make it in to a gold you will need to go and catch wonderful Chocobo from the tracks in the snow near the creator and get up to A class one done you will have to get your black Chocobo to A class and then you must mate them with a Zeio nut these nut are found by stealing or killing a goblin the goblin's are at goblin island which is north-east or below Rounds island (where you get knights of the round)
After this is done you will have a gold Chocobo and you can now go any were.
